The Second Week of November

This week we learned about compound sentences! The children worked hard to create their own compound sentences. 

Working on our second Pen Pal Letters to Holy Child Rosemont! 

Volunteering at Cradles to Crayons!! What an amazing experience:) The kids enjoyed helping sort and clean books for children in need. We loved giving back to the community. 

We got to meet our "families" this week during community time. The kids are placed into groups comprised of students from each grade. This is their "family" for the year! 

These four students finished their work early this week, and got the opportunity to write a silly fictional story. Their story had chapters, numerous characters, and events! I am so proud of them:)

We are learning "All About Bones" in science class!! The kids are captivated by learning about the human skeletal system.

Please put your child's name in winter coats, school sweaters, and sweatshirts.

Please ensure you check your child's homework is completed each night. Check their home folder for any tests that may need to be signed and returned. 

Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle each day.
