The First Week of November

The First Week of Novembe

Working on our presentation skills. Sharing our journal writing with the class :)

In social studies we are learning about scientists and inventors. The kids got the opportunity to think about what they may like to invent one day! Their work was so well thought out, detailed and creative!

In religion class we are learning about the different types of prayer. The kids took time to reflect and write about how they feel before, during and after they pray.

Writing silly alternate endings to our story "Click Clack Moo"

Parent teacher conferences are Thursday (night) 11/11 and Friday     (morning) 11/12. Please sign up if you have not already done             so. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D48AFAB28A4FAC52-november

November is All Religions month, when we celebrate the central     themes of love and goodness that all religions share. We plan to have a panel of people from different faiths briefly share what is special about their religion to them and a favorite celebration or practice that they enjoy about their religion. If you or someone you know would like to be part of this in any way, please contact Julie Myers at jmyers@holychildacademy.com

Please ensure you check your child's homework is completed each night. Check their home folder for any tests that may need to be signed and returned.

Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle each day.
