The Last Two Weeks of September

Welcome to Second Grade!

Wow! We are off to an amazing start of our school year. Things may be a little out of the ordinary this year, but that hasn't stopped us from having a great time in the classroom(both physically and virtually!) The first month of school has been filled with faith, learning and fun. We have written to our pen pals from Holy Child School at Rosemont, and we received letters back! We have done experiments in science, learned about communities in social studies and have done lots of problems in math. Our classroom theme this year is KINDNESS. Everyday the children have found new ways to be kind to their classmates, their teachers and to themselves. In our classroom we have a special kindness jar. We are off to a great start and it is well on its way to being filled! Once it is filled the children will vote on a class reward!
